Curriculum Vitae

 

Tasnia Hossain is a proud alumnus of North South University. She has completed her undergraduate degree from the institution in Biochemistry and Biotechnology and has achieved Magna Cum Laude. She then proceeded to pursue her Master's degree in Immunology and Immunotherapy from The University of Birmingham where she graduated with Merit. Other than that, she has worked at Medinova Medical services (a renowned diagnostic center) as a Biochemist and has received training in the COVID-19 detection facility. She also received Basic Life Support (BLS) training from the American Heart Association. She has worked extensively at the Institute of Cancer and Genomic Sciences where she investigated the relationship between tumor cells and NKG2D ligands in Ovarian Cancer. She is passionate about teaching and motivating brilliant young minds toward science. She is enthusiastic about Cancer research and wishes to focus future research on cancer immunology and anti-cancer drug development.
