Curriculum Vitae

Aida Hassan is a Lecturer at the Department of Architecture at North South University. She has been teaching full time since 2017 and had been a part-time faculty in 2016 at NSU. As an educator and urbanist, her interest lies in exploring data-driven solutions for computational urban design. She co-founded and was the graphics editor for the weekly art and architecture newsletter, ADDA in Dhaka. In 2017, she also co-curated the exhibition, “91/2, House Time & Memory” in Dhaka. Hassan recieved her B.A. from SCI-Arc (Southern California Institute of Architecture), USA and a Masters in City & Technology from IAAC (Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia), Spain.

Design Awards:

1. Recipient of Special Award, “TRACK IT EASY”, Final MaCT Project, Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC), Barcelona, Spain, 2022. 

2. Design Exhibition: The masters project, "TRACK IT EASY" was part of the exhibition, "trans-FORMING FUTURE cities” in Barcelona, Spain, 2022.

3. Co-curator of an architectural exhibition titled, “91/2 House, Time & Memory”, Dhaka, 2017
