Curriculum Vitae

I am a Mental Health Professional, Faculty member, and Researcher. At present, I teach psychology at North South University (NSU) at the undergraduate level as a full-time faculty member. I have been working at NSU since 2020. I also work as an Associate Psychological Counsellor at Psychological Health and Wellness Care (PHWC). Altogether, I have 10 years of work experience in the Mental Health and Research Sector. Internationally, I have experience working at St. Thomas’ Hospital in London as a Health Psychology Learner. Nationally, I worked as a Student Counsellor (Psychologist) at Scholastica School, a Research Associate at NewVision Solutions Ltd., a Research Officer at Bangladesh Institute of Development Studies, and a Trainee Child Psychologist at Dhaka Shishu Hospital.

I did my four-year Bachelor's and one-year Master’s from the University of Dhaka with a special preference in advanced child and adolescent psychology, ethnic minorities, and evaluation of the education system. I did another Master’s in ‘Health Psychology’ from King’s College London (KCL), The United Kingdom, with a preference for Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) in health care settings, technology-based interventions focusing on improving access to psychological therapies (IAPT), and behavioural change interventions.

I love teaching and love being a mental health practitioner.

I am a Proud Commonwealth Scholar :)
